Choose a Quiet, Comfortable Spot
Pick a place where your pet feels safe and relaxed. This could be their favourite spot in the house, a cosy corner, or even outside in a cherished part of the garden.
Gather Family Members
If you and your family want to be present, gather everyone who wishes to say their goodbyes. Being surrounded by loved ones provides comfort to both you and your pet.
Have Comforting Items Nearby
Bring together your pet’s favourite items, such as toys, blankets or anything else that brings them comfort. These familiar objects can help soothe your pet and make their final moments more peaceful.

Create a Calming Atmosphere
Play soft music, dim the lights or light a candle to create a serene atmosphere. Anything that helps create a calm and comforting environment is beneficial.
